Privacy Policy

At Posty ("we") we take care of your data the way we take care of your Instagram: seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, what we use it for and what control you have over it. By using Posty you accept this policy.

1. What data we collect

• Account data: email and password (encrypted — we never see it in plain text).
• Your business data: name, Instagram handle, industry, goals, communication tone and the information you add to your profile.
• Content you generate: texts, designs and ideas created with the app, and your publishing calendar.
• Instagram data (only if you connect your account): through Instagram's official API we access your username, basic profile data and the content you authorize us to publish. If you enable customer care, we also access your comments and direct messages to prepare the replies — which are only sent with your approval, one by one. We never access your Instagram password.
• Payment data: processed by MercadoPago or Stripe depending on your country and payment method. We never see or store your card details; we only receive confirmation of your subscription and its status.
• Technical data: IP address and basic usage logs for security and to prevent abuse (for example, the free trial limit).
• Usage measurement: we record in aggregate how the app is used (which screens are visited and which actions are taken, without reading your content) to improve the product. If you delete your account, these records are deleted with it.

2. What we use it for

• Create and manage your account.
• Generate personalized ideas, texts and designs for your business.
• Publish or schedule content on your Instagram only when you authorize it.
• Process your subscription and manage payments, referral discounts and cancellations.
• Improve the service and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the service (Meta/Instagram to publish, MercadoPago or Stripe to charge).

3. Instagram permissions

If you connect your Instagram account, we request only the permissions the service needs:

• Basic reading of your business profile (username and public profile data).
• Publishing of photos, videos and reels that you approve inside the app.
• Reading of basic metrics to show you your content's performance.

You can revoke access at any time from your Instagram account (Settings → Apps and websites) or by disconnecting your account in Posty Settings.

Under Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to us at hola@postycommunitymanager.com.

6. Security and retention

We store your data on secure servers and keep your information while your account is active. Instagram access tokens renew automatically and are deleted if you disconnect your account. Passwords are stored with irreversible hashing.

7. Minors

Posty is a service for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a relevant way, we will let you know inside the app or by email. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the current version.
